Daisy JT Smith is a choreographer and director for film and theatre.

Smith's choreographic style is playful and humorous, applying a generous dollop of physical theatre to strong contemporary technique.

Smith's theatre productions are dark and macabre, utilising physical theatre to depict unsettling narratives. She founded theatre company The Grand Onion in 2017, producing her first play Blue Pyotr which received raving reviews:

"That was some fucked up shit... I love you" - Janina Smith (The Friday League).

Smith's filmmaking is identifiable in its simplicity. The visual outcome is always honest and rich, with simple, yet often quite peculiar filming and editing techniques.
